Sibley-Ocheyedan Community Schools Confirm Positive Case Of COVID-19; Affected Students & Staff Now In Quarantine

Tue 9-15-2020

(Sibley)-- Officials with the Sibley-Ocheyedan Community School District are confirming a student there has tested positive for COVID-19. A letter to district patrons doesn't say what grade level the affected student is in.

Superintendent James Craig says Osceola County Public Health has conducted contact tracing and that students and staff that have been exposed are now in quarantine.

Craig says students and staff are strongly recommended to wear masks when six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained for longer than 15 minutes and that anyone feeling sick should stay home.
