Short Pursuit On Interstate 90 Results In Arrest
(Jackson, Mn.)-- A short pursuit early Sunday on Interstate 90 in Jackson county ended with the arrest of an Edgerton man.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it started around 1:00 am when a trooper observed a 1996 Chrysler exit onto the Alpha ramp without using the turn signal. The Chrysler came to a stop then sped away, eventually making it back onto the westbound lanes of I-90 at Welcome.
A Jackson county deputy deployed stop sticks near mile marker 85, bringing the vehicle to a stop.
The driver, 49-year-old Jason Hulstein, was arrested and charged with fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, 2nd degree DWI, open container, driving after revocation and failure to signal a turn.
