Sheldon Man Pleads Not Guilty To Charges In Fatal ATV Crash

            (Primghar)-- A northwest Iowa man pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges related to an all-terrain-vehicle crash that killed a woman in O'Brien county.

27-year-old Garrett Crowl of Sheldon was charged with one count of homicide by vehicle and homicide by vehicle...reckless driving.

Investigators say Crowl was allegedly under the influence of marijuana while he was operating an A-T-V July 30th, 2016 that collided with a tree. A passenger, 25-year-old Shaleah Donavon of Sheldon, was killed in the crash, which happened at a private recreation area about two miles north of Sheldon.

Trial for Crowl is set for April 17th in O'Brien County District Court.
