Season's Center Awarded Funding For Mobile Crisis Service Program
(Spencer)-- A crisis services program offered by Seasons Center in Spencer has been awarded funding through Northwest Iowa Care Connections.
The program will provide on-site, in-person intervention for those experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse crisis. The service will be provided by trained professionals and will be offered in conjunction with law enforcement.
Christina Eggink-Postma, Vice President of Program Coordination and Compliance at Seasons Center, says the service will be provided in Clay, Dickinson, O'Brien, Osceola, Lyon and Palo Alto counties.
She adds the team will field calls 24-hours a day, seven days a week beginning January 1st, 2018.
