Searches Of Two Emmetsburg Apartments Results In Drug Charges Against Several People
(Emmetsburg)-- The execution of two search warrants Monday on two apartments in Emmetsburg resulted in drug charges against three people.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office says the first warrant was executed at 1708 11th Street apartment #1. It resulted in authorities seizing about 327 grams of marijuana and about $2,000 in cash. 19-year-old Mark Steven Lange of Emmetsburg was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, a drug tax stamp violation, possession of marijuana wax, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of unlawful possession of a prescription drug.
Authorities then executed a second search warrant at apartment 6 at the same address. Deputies seized about 107 grams of marijuana and about $1,000 in cash. 19-year-old Anthony Holey of Emmetsburg was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, a drug tax stamp violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was 20-year-old Mahamed Noor of Emmetsburg who was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Emmetsburg police.
