Road Rage Incident Lands Man In Jail On Weapons Charges
Thu 12-10-2015 ["2300 Dickinson County Road A34"]
(Milford)-- A case of what appears to be road rage has landed a Spencer man in jail on weapons charges. The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office says it stems from an incident that took place shortly after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 2300 block of County Road A-34 east of Milford. Authorities say 34-year-old Glenn Muckey of Spencer was attempting to pass a vehicle that was parking. They say hand gestures were exchanged and that Muckey parked in front of the other vehicle, exited his vehicle, and confronted the two men who were in the other vehicle. Authorities say Muckey was armed with a baseball bat and that he had two long guns in his possession. 911 was called and Muckey left the scene. He was stopped a short time later by law enforcement.
Muckey was arrested and charged with going armed with intent and possession of a firearm as a prohibited person. Both charges are class "D" felonies.
Muckey was booked into the Dickinson county jail on a $10,000 bond.
The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Milford Police Department.
