Revolving Fund Passes Interest Savings To Cities
Wed 4-8-2015
(Des Moines)-- Several area cities that have loans for water and wastewater projects through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources State Revolving Fund will see savings on interest payments.
Locally, Emmetsburg will see a savings of nearly $25,000; Graettinger will save a little more than $20,000, and the city of Lake Park will see a savings of slightly more than $11,000.
The State Revolving Fund is administered jointly by the Iowa Finance Authority and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. It helps fund projects intended to improve water quality in the state.
