Registration Now Open For Farm And Agribusiness Workshop August 29th

The Farm and Agribusiness Succession Workshop will be focusing on everything from planning to beginner farmer loans and tax programs.

“Iowa State University extension and Outreach will be hosting a farm and every business succession workshop on Thursday August 29th from 5 to 9 p.m. at the ISU extension Outreach office located on the fairgrounds in Spirit Lake. So this program is open to you know all farmers and agribusiness folks that are interested in successful succession and transitions of their Farms or businesses. We will be having Gary Wright speak and he is the farm and agribusiness management specialist with ISU Extension Outreach. Steve Ferguson with the Iowa Finance Authority will be speaking as well along with Kit Kobar was a legal consultant with the center for agricultural law and Taxation and finally Dave Baker with the extension beginning farmer Center will be speaking.”
Registration for the Agribusiness Workshop is 25 dollars per person, which includes all materials and an evening meal. The workshop will be held at the ISU Extension Office at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds. The deadline to pay your registration is August 22nd. To register, call 712-336-3488.
