Pursuit Through Portions Of Two Counties Results In Arrest Of Minneapolis Man
(Jackson, Mn.)-- A 30-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested after a pursuit that started in Windom and ended in Jackson County.
At approximately 11:00 Sunday morning, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a multi-agency pursuit regarding a stolen 2018 Dodge Durango SRT. At the time, the pursuit was traveling southbound through the city of Windom and continued southbound on US 71 and entered Jackson County. A deputy successfully deployed stop sticks and disabled two tires on the vehicle approximately 2 miles into Jackson County. The vehicle continued approximately another mile and eventually came to a stop.
The driver, Leroy Bradley, of Minneapolis, was arrested without further incident. He was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he is being held on a Fleeing A Peace Officer charge.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Windom Police Department, and Minnesota DNR assisted in the arrest.
The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen from Apple Autos in Shakopee.
Additional charges are possible.
