Pres. & CEO Of NW Financial Corp. Appointed By Gov. Kim Reynolds To Serve As Supt. Of The Iowa Division Of Banking

(Des Moines)-- The President and Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Financial Corporation has been appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds to serve as Superintendent of the Iowa Division of Banking.

The appointment of Jeff Plagge to that position is pending confirmation by the Iowa Senate and would be effective when Ron Hansen, who currently holds that position, steps down this coming September 16th.

Hansen has served as Superintendent of Banking since November 2015.

Plagge has served as Chairman of the Iowa Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association; as board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago; as Chairman of the Community Depository Institution Advisory Council for the Chicago Federal Reserve and as a member of the same Council for the Board of Governors.

Northwest Financial Corporation is based in Arnolds Park and is the parent company of Northwest Bank.
