Plans Are Kicking Into High Gear For 2021 Clay County Fair
(Spencer)-- It's full steam ahead when it comes to planning for this year's Clay County Fair. CEO Jeremy Parsons says they are extremely optimistic about the prospects of holding a fair this year...
"Our plan is full speed ahead for a fair in 2021, and there's a lot of optimism especially here in the upper midwest with people getting vaccinated and those types of things. So we really are planning on a full fair in '21 and part of that is, of course, the Clay County Fair's grandstand. And so we were able to re-announce some concerts. There were some concerts that we had planned for the 2020 fair that we rolled forward to 2021 and so we kind of wanted to remind everybody of those concerts...Skillet, Herman's Hermits, Josh Turner, Darcy Lynn, four great entertainers and we've got two concert announcements yet to go but just a chance for people to start planning their fair trips September 11th through the 19th."
The pandemic forced the cancellation of last year's Clay County Fair.
