Tue 5-1-2018

(Jackson, Mn.)-- Authorities are investigating a reported theft at a downtown Jackson business.

Around 9:15 am Monday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office was notified of a theft from Bob's Fleet Supply. A 1995 Dodge pickup that had a 6 x 8 foot utility trailer attached to it were both stolen from the business' lot.

At about 4:00 pm Monday, Jackson county authorities were notified by the O'Brien County Sheriff's Office that they had recovered the pickup, but not the trailer. Two occupants in the pickup were arrested and were awaiting formal charges. It was also discovered the pickup had license plates on it that were stolen from another vehicle in Jackson county earlier Monday morning.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is working with O'Brien county authorities to get the pickup returned.
