One Area School District Will Extend Days To Make Up For Time Lost So Far Due To Weather
(Jackson, Mn.)-- One area school district says it will use extended days to help make up for time lost due to weather.
Starting next Thursday, March 14th, Jackson County Central schools will add an additional hour onto the end of the school day, continuing through Friday, May 31st. In addition, there also WILL be school at JCC Thursday, April 18th.
School officials say the plan allows for the last day of school at JCC to remain on May 31st, but only takes into account the days that have already been missed. They say any future cancellations will still need to be addressed.
