Okoboji Foundation Holding Its Annual July Nonprofit Challenge
(Arnolds Park)-- The Okoboji Foundation is once again holding its July Nonprofit Challenge. Spokesman Rob Waterhouse says all you have to do is encourage others to join you with a gift of any size to help your favorite nonprofit fund. The nonprofit fund with the highest amount received totaling more than $5,000 in July will win an additional $5,000 from the Okoboji Foundation.
Waterhouse says donors will also be eligible to receive tax benefits through the Endow Iowa program.
Nonprofit partners include the Bedell Family YMCA/Camp Foster, the Dickinson County Endowment Fund, Dickinson County Nature Center, Dickinson County Trails Board Endowment Project Fund, First Lutheran Church of West Okoboji, First Presbyterian Church in Spirit Lake, Friends of Lakeside Lab, Iowa Lakes Corridor Entrepreneurial Development, Lakes Regional Healthcare Foundation, Mini-Wakan Shelter and Gull Point Lodge, Okoboji Community Schools Foundation, Okoboji Summer Theatre, Okoboji Yach Club Sailing School, the Pearson Lakes Art Center, Spirit Lake Community Schools Foundation, Historic Arnolds Park Incorporated and Youth In Philanthropy.
