O'Brien County Crash Sends One Person To Hospital

(Primghar)-- One person was injured Monday in a two-vehicle collision in O'Brien county.
The Sheriff's Office says it involved vehicles driven by 26-year-old Natasha Hofmeyer of Paullina and 84-year-old Arvin Schmidt of Hartley.
Schmidt was taken by ambulance to Baum Harmon Hospital in Primghar; no injuries were reported to Hofmeyer.
Schmidt was cited for failure to yield; Hofmeyer was issued a citation for no insurance.
$2,000 in damage was estimated to a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Hofmeyer; damage to a 2008 Toyota Avalon driven by Schmidt was estimated at $5,000.
The collision took place shortly after 4:00 pm.
