O'Brien County Collision Sends One Person To Hospital

(Primghar)-- A two-vehicle collision this past Saturday in O'Brien county sent one person to the hospital.
The Sheriff's Office 34-year-old Brady Fallon of Everly was driving a 1998 Chevrolet pickup westbound on 360th Street and had slowed to turn left when a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan, which was also westbound and was being driven by 69-year-old Stephen Leonard of Spencer, attempted to pass. Both vehicles wound up in the southwest ditch.
Leonard was taken by private vehicle to Spencer Hospital for treatment of possible injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Leonard was cited with passing too near an intersection.
$5,000 in damage was estimated to the Grand Caravan driven by Leonard; damage to the pickup driven by Fallon was estimated at $3,000.
The collision took place shortly before 8:00 am.
