O'Brien County Authorities Arrest Four Suspects In Burglary Investigations

(Primghar)-- Authorities in O'Brien say they've made four arrests stemming from six burglaries in the Sutherland area that took place back in March and April.

The Sheriff's Office says a search warrant was obtained and executed on April 27th on residences at 409 Pine Street and 217 South Oak Street in Sutherland. Authorities seized guns, jewelry, tools and other property.

20-year-old Bradley Kots of Sutherland was arrested and charged with five counts of burglary in the 3rd degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 4th degree, and one count each of criminal mischief in the 5th degree and theft in the 2nd degree.

30-year-old Troy Werkmeister of Sutherland was charged with four counts of burglary in the 3rd degree, one count of criminal mischief in the 4th degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 5th degree, and one count each of theft in the 2nd degree, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

18-year-old Sydnee Johnson of Sutherland was charged with one count of possession of stolen property. Authorities say Johnson was also wanted on a warrant for forgery and theft in the 4th degree.

And 29-year-old Lindsay Simon of Sutherland was charged with one count each of possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say the investigation continues as not all of the stolen property has been recovered.

The O'Brien County Sheriff's Office and the Sutherland and Paullina Police Departments are involved in the investigation.
