NW Iowa Woman Appointed Co-Chair Of Governor's STEM Advisory Council
(Des Moines)-- A Cherokee woman will serve as the next co-chair of the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council. Diane Young was appointed by the Governor to succeed Accumold President and CEO Roger Hargens, who served as STEM Council co-chair for three years.
Young is the owner of Foundation Analytical Laboratory in Cherokee which she founded in 2008.
She was also the 2016 recipient of the Technology Association of Iowa's Women of Innovation Award for Entrepreneurial Innovation and Leadership.
