NW Iowa Elevator Heavily Damaged In Explosion Last Month Should Be Available For Fall Harvest
(Royal)-- The company that owns an elevator in Royal that was damaged in an explosion in August says the facility will be available for use during the upcoming harvest.
Ag Partners announced Monday some renovations are being made at the elevator which will allow farmers to deliver grain to the facility. They say only the silo that was damaged will not be usable, and that they expect to be partially functional in about a week and up to pretty much full operation sometime next week.
The August 25th blast blew out the top of one of the concrete silos. Fortunately no workers were in the area at the time and no one was hurt.
