Newly Updated Numbers Show Continued Decline In COVID-19 Infection Rates In Dickinson County

(Spirit Lake)-- Newly updated information from public health officials show a continued decline in the COVID-19 infection rate in Dickinson county in recent days.

It shows as of today (Fri.), a total of 369 confirmed cases of the virus in the county since the pandemic started, with 338 of those having recovered. That means as of today (Fri.) there are 27 active cases in the county. Two of those are hospitalized at Lakes Regional Healthcare. A total of 10 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic started.

Information provided in a facebook post from Lakes Regional Healthcare shows 3,679 tests have been administered with 3,310 of them coming back negative.

It also shows the highest number of cases so far in Dickinson county, 147, are in the 18 to 40 age group.
