New Faces Join Iowa Lakes Corridor Board Of Directors

(Spencer)-- The Board of Directors of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation has some new faces on it. New to the board for fiscal year 2017 are Jon Kruse, Mayor of Storm Lake; Dr. Carl Turner, Superintendent of the Storm Lake Community Schools; Burlin Matthews, Clay County Board of Supervisors; Susan Zulk of Spencer Community Hospital; John Chappas of the Spirit Lake City Council; Sean Sherrod of Polaris Industries; and Beverly Juhl of the Emmet County Board of Supervisors.

They'll join returning board members including Chairman Russ Dierenfield of Tyson Foods; Chair-Elect Kent Stansland of Bank Midwest; Treasurer Barry Sackett of the Sackett Law Firm; Past Chair Valerie Newhouse of Iowa Lakes Community College; Penny Clayton of the City of Estherville; Rick Olesen of Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative; John Tatman of Maurer Manufacturing; John Wilcke of MetaBank; and David Woodcock of Farmers Trust and Savings Bank.

Board members are elected by the membership through a nominating committee each year. Board members must be a representative of a member/investor organization.
