New Cases & Hospitalizations Associated With COVID-19 Continue To Surge In Iowa
(Des Moines)-- Both the number of new cases and hospitalizations associated with COVID-19 in Iowa continue to surge.
The Department of Public Health today (Mon.) is reporting 4,212 new cases of the virus with three additional deaths for the previous 24 hours ending at 10:00 am this (Mon.) morning. 1,034 Iowans were in the hospital with COVID, another new record daily high. 184 are in intensive care units with 82 on ventilators.
Locally, Clay county is among the counties with the highest number of new cases, with 23. Dickinson county had eight new cases.
