MnDOT, City Of Windom To Hold Open House To Answer Questions Regarding Reconstruction Of Hwy 60
(Windom, Mn.)-- The public will have an opportunity to review and ask questions about the planned reconstruction of Highway 60 through Windom at an event scheduled for later this month.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will hold an open house regarding the project Thursday, April 25th from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at the Windom City Hall.
Plans call for the road to be re-surfaced from Highway 62 to 490th Avenue in Windom, along with improvements to some sidewalks and sewer work in conjunction with the city. Officials say the construction will be done in phases with single lanes of traffic in each direction. Some intersections will also be closed while the work is going on and left turns off Highway 60 will occasionally be restricted. The project is tentatively scheduled to start as early as May 6th.
MnDOT and city staff will be on hand along with the contractor to present information and answer questions at the April 25th open house.
