Minor Injuries Reported In Two-Vehicle Collision In Clay County
(Spencer)-- Minor injuries were reported this past Saturday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 420th Street and 270th Avenue in Clay county. The Clay County Sheriff's Office says 62-year-old Allen Bohr of Royal was driving a 2017 Jeep Wrangler southbound and 43-year-old Melissa Cunningham of Greenville was driving a 2013 Honda Pilot westbound when the two collided.
Cunningham was checked over on the scene by paramedics for minor injuries and was released. No injuries were reported to Bohr.
Cunningham was cited for failure to yield half of the roadway.
Damage to the Jeep Wrangler driven by Bohr was estimated at $4,000 while the Honda Pilot Cunningham was driving sustained an estimated $7,000 in damage.
The collision took place shortly before 11:00 am.
