Minnesota Reporting 723 New Cases Of COVID-19 With 26 Additional Deaths
(St. Paul, Mn.)-- The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota topped the 10,000 mark with 723 new positive cases reported this morning. Nobles County saw an increase of 24 new cases, bringing their total to 1,177. Jackson County held at 29 positive cases, Martin County held at 111 and Cottonwood County held at 43.
26 new deaths reported this morning, bringing the state’s total to 534, of which 434 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities. There are now only 3 counties in Minnesota that have not reported a positive case.
Minnesota topped 100,000 tests completed. Just over 3,500 tests were completed yesterday. Total requiring hospitalization is now at 1,549, with 473 of those still in the hospital. The number in ICU increased by 16 to 198. Nearly 5,700 patients in Minnesota no longer need to be isolated.
