Minnesota Reporting 431 New Positive Cases Of COVID-19 With 24 New Deaths
(St. Paul, Mn.)-- The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota neared the 13,000 mark with 431 new positive cases reported this morning. New cases in Southwest Minnesota continued to stabilize. Jackson, Cottonwood and Nobles Counties report no new cases. Martin County saw an increase of 1.
24 new deaths reported this morning, bringing the state’s total to 638, of which 517 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities. There are now only 2 counties in Minnesota that have not reported a positive case.
Minnesota topped 122,000 tests completed. Almost 3,200 tests were completed yesterday. Total requiring hospitalization is now at 1,851. Of those, 494 are still in the hospital, a drop of 2 from yesterday. Patients in ICU remained the same at 199.
