Minnesota Health Officials Reporting 523 New Cases Of COVID-19 With 25 New Deaths
(St. Paul, Mn.)-- The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota topped 13,000 mark with 523 new positive cases reported this (Thurs.) morning. Jackson County reported one new case, bringing the counties total to 34, Cottonwood County is up 4 to 51 and Nobles County is up 28 to 1,319. Martin County held at 113.
25 new deaths reported this morning, bringing the state’s total to 663, of which 537 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities. There are now only 2 counties in Minnesota that have not reported a positive case.
Daily testing in Minnesota topped 6,000 for the first time yesterday. 6,416 tests were reported, bringing the state’s total to almost 129,000 tests completed. 494 Minnesotans are hospitalized from COVID-19, that’s up 4 from yesterday. Total in ICU increased by 4 to 203.
