Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz Issues Shelter In Place Order
(St. Paul, Mn.)-- Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced this (Wed.) afternoon he is implementing a shelter in place order that will be in effect from March 27th until April 10th.
In addition, the Governor announced bars, restaurants and other entertainment establishments in the state is being extended to May 1st, 2020.
As of today (Wed.) there were 287 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota with 26 hospitalizations. The Minnesota Department of Health says some 11,000 people have been tested as of today (Wed.)
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced at a news conference this (Wed.) afternoon she will NOT be issuing a shelter in place order.
