Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz Announces Closure Of Restaurants & Bars To Dine-In Customers & Other Places Of Public Accommodation & Amusement By 5:00 PM Tuesday, March 17th
(St. Paul, Mn.)-- Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced late today (Mon.) the closure of the state's restaurants and bars to dine-in customers effective Tuesday, March 17th at 5:00 pm. It also includes coffee houses and other places offering food or beverage for on-site consumption, such as brew pubs, microbreweries, distilleries, wineries, tasting rooms, clubs and other places.
Hookah bars, cigar bars, and vaping lounges are also affected along with theatres, cinemas, museums, and indoor and outdoor entertainment venues.
Also included are gymnasiums, fitness centers, recreation centers, indoors sports facilities, indoor exercise facilities, exercise studios and spas.
The closures also include amusement parks, arcades, bingo halls, bowling alleys, indoor climbing facilities, skating rinks, trampoline parks, and other similar recreational or entertainment facilities.
Country clubs, golf clubs, boating or yacht clubs, sports or athletic clubs and dining clubs are also included in the closures.
The measure is in effect until 5:00 pm March 27th.
