Man Charged With Obstruction In Milford Stabbing Pleads Not Guilty
(Spirit Lake)-- A man accused of hiding a knife that was used in a stabbing in Milford earlier this year has pled not guilty to an obstruction charge. Online court records show 42-year-old Patrick Miles of Milford entered the plea November 1st in Dickinson County District Court.
Miles was scheduled to go on trial December 8th but that has been postponed as the result of the Iowa Supeme Court suspending jury trials until February due to COVID-19.
The man accused of committing the stabbing, 29-year-old Darrel Pounds, has entered not guilty pleas to charges of attempted murder, willful injury and 2nd degree theft. He was scheduled to go on trial in January, 2021.
