Lakefield Man Arrested After Causing A Raucous At A Storm Lake Campaign Event For Elizabeth Warren
(Storm Lake)-- A Lakefield man was arrested at a campaign event this weekend in Storm Lake for Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren.
58-year-old Randal Thom of Lakefield was charged with disorderly conduct.
Reports indicated Thom was in a crowd of people outside the event and that he became very vocal and then aggressive, allegedly trying to assault some people in the crowd, before police arrested him.
Thom also reportedly asked Warren why she was in Iowa and not in Washington, D.C trying to end the government shutdown. He also unfurled a banner saying “Keep America Great” as he yelled, prompting altercations.
