Jaci Hermstad Receives Third Spinal Infusion Of Drug That Could Save Her Life
(New York, NY)-- Jaci Hermstad Thursday received a third spinal infusion of a drug that could save her life.
Hermstad, who's from Spencer, is taking a drug developed for her to fight an aggressive form of Lou Gehrig's Disease, or A-L-S.
According to her family, the infusion went well and she's feeling good. Doctors say it could take some time before seeing positive effects from the drug.
This third infusion was to be the last, but her mother says a fourth infusion could be a possibility.
