ISU Extension & Outreach To Hold Informational Meeting To Talk About Crop Damage In Last Week's Hail Storm

(Milford)-- Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will hold an informational meeting at 1:30 pm this (Monday 6/8) afternoon to address crop damage caused by last week's hail storm in east-central Dickinson county. 

The meeting will be held at the Norvin Johnson farm, at his machine shed at the corner of Dickinson County Road A-31 and 280th Street two miles east of County Road M-56, east of Arnolds Park. 

ISU Extension and Outreach Field Agronomist Paul Kassel will address crop damage, expected recovery and regrowth, yield potential of replanted corn and soybean crops and herbicide concerns where soybeans might be replanted after corn. 

A representative of the Dickinson County Farm Service Agency will also be on hand along with a crop adjuster.
