ISU Extension & Outreach, Clay County, To Offer Programs For Area Senior Citizens In Early 2020
(Spencer)-- Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Clay county will be putting on some programs after the first of the year that will be of interest to area senior citizens. "So the program on January 6th is starting at 10:00 am is Spot, Stop and Avoid Fraud. We will discover common scams and warning signs of a scam and ways to protect yourself and resources to help if you fall victim. The program on Tuesday, January 21st starting at 10:00 am is stretching your dollars. We will discover local and online resources to help you save money that you may not have before. These programs are offered at no cost to participants. Come and learn how you can remain financially healthy and safe and stay independent."
Dierks says the programs will run from 10:00 am until 11:00 am both days at the Spencer Area Activities Center on East 4th Street in Spencer.
