(Arnold's Park)-The Iowa Rock n Roll Music Association (IRRMA) presents Rock 4 Vets this week to honor Veterans across the state.

IRRMA's Director of Operations and Marketing Andrea Wiesenmeyer says the program has been expanded to include multiple concerts.

"The Rock 4 Vets is a concert series that was created by IRRMA, as a way to honor our Veterans through music.  We're actually doing three of them this year for the first time consecutively over the same week, one in Des Moines on Thursday, and then one up here in the Lakes Region on Friday, and then we'll go back down to Marshalltown on Saturday, which is the home of the V.A.  So Marshalltown will be the culmination of the entire event this year."

She notes that a portion of the proceeds from the Northwest Iowa event will be going to sponsor a Veteran on a Brushy Creek Honor Flight.

"We will give a portion of the proceeds back to help send another Veteran on an Honor Flight this spring.

All Veterans and active military get in free, everybody else it's $10.00 at the door, and like I said, we are going to take a portion of those proceeds and donate them back to Brushy Creek.  It is open to everybody, so we hope everyone will come out and help our Veterans celebrate together for their services."

Rock 4 Vets in the Iowa Great Lakes will feature The Senders at the Majestic Pavilion in Arnold's Park Friday evening, November 13, with the doors opening at 6:30 and the show at 7 pm.
