IRRMA Christmas Open House at Rock 'n Roll Museum postponed to December 19th
(Arnolds Park)-It's a holiday open house at the Rock n Roll Museum , KUOO's Becky Thoreson has the story:
The Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association (IRRMA) will host a Christmas open house at the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Museum in Arnolds Park with free admission, door prizes, refreshments and caroling, weather permitting.
IRRMA President John Senn says a number of well-known area musicians are expected to attend. "It's really what we've done over the last 3 or 4 years, where we invite some of our local musicians to come in and just do a little Christmas caroling type of stuff, within the Museum itself. Joe Cuttel is gonna show up, Denny Kintzi's gonna show up. Terry Klein's going to be there, and all the musicians that were on the road, they've got all kinds of stories, that's kind of what we're looking forward to again this year."
He adds that the Association offers a number of "stocking stuffer" items at the Museum and online for gift giving at the holiday season. "There's a ton of them that really fit that category too, you know, the T-shirts, hats, the scarves and things, sweat shirts, and it sure helps the organization."
The Christmas Open House will now be held on Monday evening starting at 5:30 pm at the Museum in Arnolds Park, which is open with Winter Hours from 9-4 Monday through Friday.
