Iowa Great Lakes Rotary presents 2nd Annual Boji Brew Fest August 4
(Arnolds Park)-The Boji Brew Fest is back this year, KUOO's Becky Thoreson has details:
The 2nd Annual Iowa Great Lakes Rotary Boji Brew Fest will be held on Saturday, August 4.
Committee Member Peggy Gustafson says more than a dozen breweries will be on hand. "We have 15 Brewers from all around the State of Iowa and some neighboring states. Of course, we have have our own Okoboji Brewing Company and West O Brewery here in the Iowa Great Lakes that are helping us host it. "With your admission price, you get a little tasting glass and then you can go around to the different Brewers and sample the brews."
She adds that the event will help raise funds to improve Shelby's Playground. "We are very much working towards improvements over at Shelby Duis' Playground at Elinor Bedell State Park. The Iowa Great Lakes Rotary Club began the park back in 2001, and it needs some new equipment, some new playground equipment, and every year we kind of help improve that with different maintenance and clean up and such. So, we're just continuing to improve Shelby Duis Playground."
Boji Brew Fest will run from noon to 4 Central Park Shelter House in Arnolds Park.
