Iowa Great Lakes Climate Meeting to be held May 11 at Lakeside Lab

The public is invited to the Iowa Great Lakes Climate meeting on Saturday morning, KUOO's Becky Thoreson has details:
The Iowa Great Lakes Chapter of the Citizens Climate Lobby will hold their monthly meeting on Saturday at Iowa Lakeside Laboratory.
Co-Chair Roger Patocka says, the meeting will focus on writing letters to elected officials, which will be delivered next month at the International Conference and Lobby Day in Washington, D.C. "We're going to be writing some letters that all of our members and anyone can send to Representatives and Senators, and those will be delivered by delegates to that convention. We will be giving some instruction on phone calls. We'll be discussing the Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act, which will be, hopefully, passed sometime in the near future."
The meeting will also include special guest Former U.S. Representative Carlos Curbelo of Florida who will join the meeting via webinar.
The meeting will get underway at 10:30 am on Saturday in the Waitt Lab on the Lakeside Campus.
It is free and open to the public.
