(Arnolds Park)-Organizers are already looking ahed to the next University of Okoboji Winter Games. KUOO's Becky Thoreson has details:
With the 40th Annual University of Okoboji Winter Games behind them, The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber is already looking to the future.
Director of Membership and Events, Kiley Zankowski says, the Chamber has launched a design contest for logos. "We're really looking forward to the next two years of Winter Games and with the event growing and continuing to such a huge hit across the huge hit and the entire Nation, we're looking ahead to get our logos created for the next two years. So, we're asking local designers or just people with a great idea that they have in mind for a logo, to submit their attempt at a concept for the logo for the next two years. It's really used for marketing and apparel and just overall promotion of the event."
She adds that the deadline to submit is just over a month away. "Make sure that they follow the design concept rules. So, it just needs to be easily screen printed, submitted in a high resolution JPEG or EPS format, gender neutral and no more than three colors. Then they'll submit that to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or they can drop it off at the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber Office by March 10th."
