Iowa Film Series continues at Pearson Lakes Art Center May 3

The Pearson Lakes Art Center is presenting their new Iowa Film Series on the first Thursday of each month.

Performing Arts Director Alesia Johnson explains.  "They will all be Iowa films, where there's either Iowa actors, producers, directors or locations in the film."

She notes that two films will be shown on Thursday evening.  "We have Pierce Arrow, P.I., it's an old time radio show comedy, and it was produced by Gary Ewing of Mason City, Iowa.  We also have a short documentary called Iowa River Riders, a documentary by Gregory Schmidt, and the original music by Iowa artist/musician Paul Micich."

The Iowa Film Series begins at 6:30 Thursday evening at the Pearson Lakes Art Center. A free will donation is requested.
