Iowa DPH Reporting Two Additional COVID-19 Deaths & 258 New Cases Of The Virus; Dickinson County Reports Total Of 212 Cases To Date
(Des Moines)-- The Iowa Department of Public Health today (Wed.) is reporting two additional COVID-19 related deaths for the 24 hour period ending at 10:00 am. It brings the state's death toll to 690. The agency is also reporting 258 new cases bringing the total number of cases in Iowa so far to 26,601. There were also 329 more recoveries bringing that total to 16,727.
Locally, the total number of cases in Dickinson county as of late this (Wed.) morning was at 212 with 92 recoveries. Neighboring counties included Clay at 110 with 65 recoveries; Emmet at 63 with 30 recoveries; Palo Alto 23 with 16 recoveries; O'Brien county with 74 total cases and 39 recoveries and Osceola county at 49 total cases with 45 recoveries.
In southwest Minnesota, Jackson county was at 53 total cases to date; Martin county 149 and Nobles county was at 1,635. The total number of cases statewide was at 33,763 with 304 new cases and five additional deaths.
