Iowa DPH Reporting Three Additional COVID-19 Deaths & 392 New Cases; Total Number Of Cases In Dickinson County Closing In On 200

(Des Moines)-- The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting three more deaths related to COVID-19 for the previous 24 hours ending at 10:00 am this (Fri.) morning. It brings the total number of deaths from the virus so far in the state to 680.

Officials are also reporting 392 new cases of COVID-19 in Iowa bringing the total number to 25,127.

Locally, Dickinson county was at 188 total cases as of late this (Fri.) morning with 73 of those having recovered. Total cases so far in adjoining counties included Clay county at 98; Emmet at 46; Palo Alto 18; O'Brien 69 and Osceola county at 49.

The state of Minnesota today (Fri.) is reporting 387 additional cases with 19 additional deaths. Jackson county has had 50 total cases so far; Nobles county was at 1,621; Martin 147 and Cottonwood county at 115.
