Iowa Dept. Of Public Health Reports 64 Additional Cases Of COVID-19 As Of This (Saturday) Morning

(Des Moines)-- The Iowa Department of Public Health reported this (Saturday) morning an additional 64 positive cases of COVID-19 in the state since Friday. That brings the total number of cases in Iowa since the outbreak began to 298. There have been a total of 4,375 negative tests to date, which includes testing by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs.

None of the new cases reported this morning were from any of the counties in northwest Iowa. 

Polk county (where Des Moines is located) was the county with highest number of new cases being reported, at 12.
