Iowa Dept. Of Public Health Reporting 298 New Cases Of COVID-19 With Three Additional Deaths
(Des Moines)-- The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting three additional deaths related to COVID-19 along with 298 new cases of the virus from 10:00 am Sunday to 10:00 am this (Monday) morning. It brings the total number of cases so far in the state to 28,728. Of those, 17,711 have recovered. The state's death toll is now at 707.
Locally, Dickinson county this (Monday) morning reported a total of 238 cases so far, up four since Friday. Of those, 109 have recovered. Numbers for adjoining counties included Clay county at 119 with 75 recoveries; Emmet at 75 with 37 recoveries; O'Brien at 81 with 43 recovered; Osceola county 51 total cases and 45 recoveries; and Palo Alto county with 29 cases and 19 recoveries.
The state of Minnesota today (Monday) is reporting 523 new cases for a total of 35,549 so far with eight additional deaths. The total number of cases in Jackson county was at 54; Nobles 1,649; Martin 154 and Cottonwood county was at 131.
