Iowa Dept. Of Public Health Reporting 293 More Positive Cases Of COVID-19 Along With 12 Additional Deaths From The Virus
(Des Moines)-- The Iowa Department of Public Health today (Wed.) reported an additional 293 positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of positive cases to date to 10,404.
The department is also reporting an additional 2,309 negative tests for a total of 52,767 negative tests to date, which includes reporting by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs.
12 additional deaths were also reported today (Wed.) along with 414 hospitalizations.
Health officials say 3,830 Iowans have recovered from the virus.
The deaths that were reported are from Black Hawk, Clayton, Jasper, Linn, Marshall, Muscatine, Polk and Woodbury counties.
The department says one in 50 Iowans have been tested for the virus.
