Incident In Spencer Results In Multiple Charges Against Homeless Woman

(Spencer)-- A homeless woman was arrested Saturday after refusing to leave a residence in Spencer.

Spencer police say they were called to the 100 block of 4th Street Southeast after getting a report of a suspicious person in a residence who was refusing to leave. Upon arriving officers located a homeless woman, identified as 32-year-old Alyson Weathers. Police also found a vehicle that Weathers allegedly had been driving, which had been reported stolen from St. Cloud earlier that same day.

Weathers was arrested and charged with operation without the owner's consent, interference with official acts and providing false information. She was booked into the Clay county jail pending an initial court appearance.
