IDPH Reporting 60 New Cases Of COVID-19 For Past 24 Hrs. Ending At 10:00 AM This (Wed.) Morning With Six Additional Deaths
(Des Moines)-- The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting 60 new cases of COVID-19 and six additional deaths for the past 24 hours ending at 10:00 am this (Wed.) morning. It brings the total number of cases in the state so far to 20,012 with 564 deaths so far.
More than 164,135 Iowans have been tested while 11,892 have reportedly recovered. One in every 19 Iowans has been tested for a positive rate of 12.2 percent.
15 COVID-19 patients across the state were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours which brings the state total to 314 hospitalized. Of those in the hospital, 116 are in intensive care while 76 are on ventilators.
