IDPH Reporting 454 COVID-19 Cases As Of This (Fri.) Morning With 18 Additional Deaths
(Des Moines)-- The Iowa Department of Public Health this (Fri.) morning reported 18 more COVID-19 deaths and 454 more cases of the virus. It brings the state's total number of cases so far to 16,408. The additional 18 deaths reported today (Fri.) brings the state's death toll to 418.
New cases were being reported in several northwest Iowa counties, including Emmet county with one additional case bringing the county's total to seven; Palo Alto county with one additional case for a total of three; Buena Vista county with four more cases for a total of 135; Cherokee county with two new cases for a total of 10; Plymouth county reported seven new cases for a total of 100 and Sioux county with six additional cases for a total of 181. Other counties in the region, as of this (Fri.) morning, reported no changes.
