I90 Crash Sends Occupants Of One Vehicle To Hospital; Driver Of Other Vehicle Takes Off On Foot

(Worthington)-- Four people from Spencer were injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 90 at Worthington. The Minnesota State Patrol says a Trailblazer and a Lincoln pickup were westbound. Authorities say the driver of the Trailblazer lost control and hit the pickup, causing both vehicles to roll in the ditch. Troopers say the driver of the Trailblazer fled the scene on foot and has not been identified; the driver of the pickup, 37-year-old Dustin Quinn of Spencer, and three passengers...35-year-old Matthew Janssen, 37-year-old Erica Janssen and 25-year-old Rhonda Meyer...all of Spencer...sustained minor injuries. They were taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington.

Authorities say there were apparently no seriously injuries to two juvenile passengers in the Trailblazer.

Both vehicles were totaled.

The collision took place shortly after 11:00 a.m. Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff's Office and Worthington Fire and Rescue.
