I 90 Crash Injures Hartley Woman
(Luverne, Mn.)-- A two-vehicle collision Sunday on Interstate 90 near Beaver Creek sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 20-year-old Avery Henderson of Lakefield was driving a 2007 Lincoln eastbound near the Beaver Creek exit and was starting to merge from the right to the left lane, nearly colliding with an eastbound 2011 GMC Yukon driven by 36-year-old Deann Reese of Farmington. Troopers say Reese traveled onto the shoulder of the median to try to avoid a collision, but started to lose control of the vehicle. Troopers say she then over-corrected and struck the vehicle driven by Henderson, sending that vehicle into the ditch.
A passenger in Henderson's vehicle, 19-year-old Tristin Saarie of Hartley, was taken to Sanford Hospital in Luverne with non life-threatening injuries.
The crash took place shortly after 4:00 pm.
